Golf Course Grounds Staff

Hardisty Lakeview Golf Course is seeking Grounds staff for the current golf season. These positions will report to the Golf Course Superintendent.

Responsibilities and Required Skills

• Maintain all grounds including the golf course, clubhouse surrounds, driving range, and campsite.

• Maintain all equipment including mowers, tractor, work carts, hand tools, and rental carts. 

• Prioritize the safe operation of all daily tasks and machinery.

• Execute the schedule for ground care including mowing, fertilizing, and herbicide application.

• Operate and maintain irrigation systems, water wells, pumps, and automated controls.

Qualifications and Experience

• Pesticide applicators licence is an asset.  

• Knowledge of the safe operation of motorized equipment. 

• Knowledge of the principles to safely operate gasoline and diesel engines. 

• Strong mechanical aptitude. 

• Ability to follow oral and written directions in a timely and efficient manner.

• Positive attitude and excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
