Clubhouse Manager


Hardisty Lakeview Golf Course is seeking a Clubhouse Manager for the 2023 golf season. This person will report directly to the Board of Directors and be responsible for the overall management, operation, and care of the Clubhouse restaurant, Pro Shop, and related equipment and facilities. The Clubhouse Manager will work alongside the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure the Hardisty Lakeview Golf Course facility remains an enjoyable destination for golfers across Alberta.


Responsibilities and required skills may include:

  • Hiring, scheduling, and direct supervision of clubhouse staff.

  • Train staff on daily operations of the clubhouse, restaurant, golf course, campground, and associated facilities.

  • Ordering and maintain record of inventory in the kitchen and Pro Shop.

  • Performing general accounting duties:

  • Balancing tills and daily financial reports

  • Totaling payroll hours

  • Working with the Bookkeeper to keep all financials current and correct.

  • Assist with organizing of tournaments, taking entries, planning meals, and assuring sufficient staffing.

  • Ensure standards, policies, rules, and regulations of the Hardisty Lakeview Golf Course are adhered to by all staff and patrons.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

  • Possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License

  • Strong interpersonal and management skills.

  • Previous staff/ food service/ kitchen management experience and Alberta Food Safety Basics course is an asset.

  • General accounting/ bookkeeping knowledge related to the food service industry is an asset.

  • Ability to follow oral and written directions in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Positive attitude and excellent organizational and communication skills.
